UK Oil & Gas PLC has announced a major advancement for its Dorset Hydrogen Storage Project with a supportive letter from SGN, affirming the project’s critical role in the UK’s energy decarbonization efforts. The facility, which is in the early stages of design, aims to provide substantial hydrogen storage and aid in meeting the energy demands and net-zero transition of the Solent Cluster and Southern England. This endorsement is pivotal for the company’s application for government Revenue Support in the upcoming Allocation Round.
