Ubs Group (CH:UBSG) has released an update.
UBS Group AG announced the availability of conversion capital for a series of Additional Tier 1 instruments issued since November 2023, following shareholder approval. The conversion capital will apply from May 10, 2024, and allows these instruments to be converted into equity instead of being written down in the event of a trigger or viability event. The news release emphasizes that these securities are not registered in the United States and are subject to certain restrictions on sale and transfer.
