Tribe Technology PLC has announced that its flagship autonomous RC Drill Rig requires additional software development and system integration before it can be deployed to a customer’s mine site. The company plans to showcase the drill rig’s functions in December 2024 and commence field installation in early Q2 2025, which has led to the pursuit of extra funding and a 20% reduction in fixed operational costs for Q4 2024. CEO Charlie King expressed confidence in overcoming these hurdles, with support from McKay Drilling and a dedicated technical team.
