TransAlta Corp (TSE:TA) has released an update.
At TransAlta Corporation’s Annual Meeting, a significant 63.21% of shareholders represented by proxy approved all 12 director nominees, the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as auditors for 2024, and a non-binding advisory vote on executive compensation. The director nominees received overwhelming support with the least favored candidate still securing over 96% of votes, while the auditors were approved with 98.88% in favor. The executive compensation approach was also well-received, with 99.02% of the votes endorsing it.
