Toyota Motor (TM) has released an update.
Toyota Motor Corporation successfully concluded its 120th Ordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting, resulting in the election of 10 Board of Directors members, one Audit & Supervisory Board Member, and a substitute for the latter. A shareholder proposal for partial amendments to the Articles of Incorporation was disapproved. Subsequent to the meeting, key executive positions were reaffirmed, with Akio Toyoda as Chairman, Shigeru Hayakawa as Vice Chairman, and Koji Sato as President.
