TotalEnergies Secures Long-term LNG Supply Deal with Sinopec

TotalEnergies SE (FR:TTE) has released an update.

TotalEnergies has signed a significant 15-year agreement to supply Sinopec with 2 million tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) annually starting in 2028, solidifying its position in the world’s largest LNG market, China. This deal is part of TotalEnergies’ strategy to expand its LNG business and supports the energy transition by replacing coal with natural gas in electricity production. The agreement strengthens the partnership between TotalEnergies and Sinopec, highlighting the growing importance of clean energy solutions in global energy markets.
