TotalEnergies and its joint venture TE H2, in partnership with VERBUND, have embarked on the ‘H2 Notos’ project in Tunisia, aiming to produce up to 1 million tons of green hydrogen annually for European markets. Leveraging wind and solar power, the project signifies a pivotal movement towards sustainable energy and economic growth in Tunisia. This strategic venture is set to connect with Europe via the ‘SoutH2 Corridor’ pipeline, bolstering Europe’s transition to green hydrogen energy.
