TotalEnergies SE (FR:TTE) has released an update.
TotalEnergies has expanded its LNG bunkering operations by signing a charter contract for a new 18,600m³ LNG bunker vessel with Spanish shipowner Ibaizabal, set to be delivered by the end of 2026. The vessel will serve various ships at TotalEnergies’ global bunkering hubs and support the company’s efforts to reduce shipping emissions with LNG as a cleaner fuel alternative. This move is part of TotalEnergies’ broader strategy to grow its natural gas segment and reduce carbon emissions in line with its sustainability goals.
