Grupo Televisa, S.A.B. has issued a statement addressing the unusual trading activity of its securities, clarifying that the company has no knowledge of the reasons behind the volatility and confirming no involvement in the trading by its board members or executives. The company, a dominant player in the telecommunications and media industry in Mexico, also highlighted its cable, satellite TV, and broadband services, as well as its significant share in TelevisaUnivision, which distributes Spanish-speaking content globally.
