Telecom Argentina S.A. is a leading telecommunications company in Argentina, providing a range of services including fixed-line telephone, cellular, data transmission, pay TV, and internet services. In its latest earnings report, Telecom Argentina revealed consolidated revenues of P$2,852,341 million for the first nine months of 2024, marking a 10.4% decline in constant currency compared to the previous year. Despite the overall revenue decline, the company saw a recovery trend in service revenues during the third quarter.
Key financial metrics showed that while operating income before depreciation, amortization, and impairments remained stable at 28.8% of revenues, net income significantly increased to P$951,912 million, driven mainly by gains from exchange rate differences. The company also reported a decrease in net financial debt by 37.6% in constant currency since December 2023.
