Teck Resources Limited has reported a localized fire at its Trail Operations’ Electrolytic Zinc Plant, which led to the shutdown of one section, with no injuries or environmental impacts. The company confirmed that the remaining sections continue to operate, maintaining zinc, lead, and other metal production. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire, and updates will be provided as new information emerges.
