Technology Minerals PLC, a leader in establishing a circular economy for battery metals, has announced a £50,000 funding boost from the Clean Futures Accelerator Programme to support its subsidiary Recyclus Group’s innovative recycling process for lithium thionyl chloride batteries. With no current recycling method in Europe for these batteries, the company’s breakthrough could tackle the growing environmental risk they pose. Additionally, Recyclus recently achieved a record processing rate for Li-ion batteries at its UK facility, showcasing its commitment to sustainable battery recycling.
