TD Bank Prices S$250M Perpetual Notes Offering

Toronto Dominion Bank (TSE:TD) has released an update.

Toronto-Dominion Bank has priced a S$250 million private placement of AT1 Perpetual Notes, which will pay a fixed interest rate of 5.700% until July 2029, after which the rate will reset every five years. These notes, which aid in strengthening the bank’s capital structure, have no set maturity and may be redeemed starting 2029 with regulatory approval. The funds raised will support general corporate activities, potentially including the redemption of capital securities or repayment of liabilities.
