TASK Group Holdings Limited (ASX: TSK) has announced significant progress on its acquisition by PAR Technology Corporation, with key approvals from New Zealand’s Overseas Investment Office and the Australian Taxation Office already secured. Shareholders are urged to vote on the proposed acquisition at an upcoming virtual meeting, with the TASK Board unanimously recommending approval of the scheme. The sale of PAR’s subsidiaries has provided additional funds for general corporate purposes and investment in PAR’s growth.
