Talga Group Ltd has completed a mining study examining the expansion of its Vittangi Graphite Project in Sweden, focusing on increasing the production of low-emission graphite anode products for lithium-ion batteries. The study, part of a comprehensive Scoping Study, evaluates underground mining methods and production plans with minimal environmental impact, and considers potential growth in response to rising demand from the battery and EV markets. Talga’s CEO highlighted the project’s strategic importance in providing raw materials for the EU and global markets, aiming to exceed initial production targets.
