The Company recently announced a groundbreaking study published in The Journal of Clinical Microbiology, showcasing the effectiveness and clinical advantages of the T2Resistance® Panel, a tool that significantly outperforms traditional blood culture methods in detecting resistant infections. The study revealed that the panel had a high accuracy rate and provided results in about 4.4 hours, compared to the 58.3 hours required for standard procedures. This rapid turnaround is crucial for timely clinical decisions, leading to more appropriate antibiotic use. The data is expected to drive wider adoption of the T2Resistance Panel, particularly in markets accepting the CE Mark, and pave the way for its introduction in the U.S. market.
