Synchrony Financial (SYF) has shared an update.
Synchrony Financial has announced the retirement of David P. Melito, its Chief Accounting Officer, effective July 2, 2024, and the appointment of Brian J. Wenzel, Sr. as the interim principal accounting officer until July 31, 2024. Following this interim period, Amy Tiliakos will take over as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer, and Controller starting August 1, 2024. Tiliakos brings experience from American Express and is set to receive a comprehensive compensation package, including sign-on awards, without any additional familial or material entanglements with the company.
