Superloop Ltd. is set to acquire Uecomm Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Optus, for $17.5 million, significantly expanding its fibre network across major Australian cities. The acquisition, which will be funded through cash and existing debt, includes over 2,000 kilometres of high-capacity fibre assets and will enhance Superloop’s internet service offerings. This strategic move aligns with Superloop’s growth ambitions, poised to deliver long-term cost and revenue synergies.
