Suncor Energy (TSE:SU) has released an update.
Suncor Energy has reported a strong first quarter in 2024, with $3.2 billion in adjusted funds from operations and a record upstream production of 835,000 barrels per day. The company also achieved its highest ever first-quarter refining throughput at 455,000 barrels per day with 98% overall utilization. Additionally, Suncor returned $1.0 billion to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases.
