Starcore International Mines Ltd. has temporarily halted mining operations at the San Martin Mine in Mexico due to safety protocol upgrades mandated after an inspection. The suspension follows a recent accident resulting in the first fatality in over 18 years at the site. The company is actively working to meet the new safety requirements and expects to resume operations within a week.
