Standard Lithium Ltd. has achieved a significant milestone by commissioning North America’s largest Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) column, which is now operational at their Arkansas demonstration plant. The DLE technology, which boasts a 97.3% lithium recovery rate and a high rejection of contaminants, is a critical step towards sustainably producing battery-quality lithium compounds. The successful deployment of this commercial-scale technology is set to bolster the company’s position as a leading lithium producer in the region.
