Standard Chartered PLC has continued its share buy-back program, purchasing over 541,000 of its own shares at an average price of 991.18 pence per share. This strategic move is aimed at enhancing shareholder value by reducing the number of shares in circulation. Following the cancellation of the purchased shares, the total number of voting rights in Standard Chartered will be approximately 2.43 billion.
