Standard Chartered (GB:STAN) has released an update.
Standard Chartered PLC has repurchased over 532,000 of its ordinary shares as part of its ongoing share buy-back program, with prices ranging from 986.40 to 995.40 pence per share. This move is part of the company’s strategy to optimize its capital structure by reducing the number of shares in circulation. Following the cancellation of these shares, the total number of voting rights will be adjusted to reflect the new share count.
