Standard Chartered (GB:STAN) has released an update.
Standard Chartered PLC has recently bought back over a million of its own shares through a transaction with J.P. Morgan Securities, as part of the previously announced 2024 Buy-back programme. These shares are now set to be cancelled, which will affect the total number of voting rights in the company. The transaction details and subsequent changes in share structure aim to enhance shareholder value and were executed in accordance with regulatory requirements.
