Standard Chartered (GB:STAN) has released an update.
Standard Chartered PLC has successfully executed a share buy-back on 20 June 2024, purchasing 1,090,000 ordinary shares at prices ranging between 718.4 and 734.2 pence each, with plans to cancel the acquired shares. This move is part of a previously announced buy-back programme, and following the cancellation, the number of remaining shares and voting rights in the company will stand at 2,554,601,787. The buy-back aligns with the amended share voting structure established after SC’s 2024 annual general meeting.
