St. Barbara Ltd. (AU:SBM) has released an update.
St Barbara Ltd has reported promising assay results from the latest exploration drill holes at the Sorowar – Pigiput zone, with significant gold intercepts that lie outside the current resource estimates and pit designs at their Simberi Operations in Papua New Guinea. Notably, drill hole SDH542 yielded 44 meters at 2.5 g/t gold, including higher-grade segments, indicating potential for resource expansion. These results will inform future updates to the company’s Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve estimates, although not included in the current update.
