SSE’s Cloiche Wind Farm Wins Major Green Energy Contract

SSE (GB:SSE) has released an update.

SSE’s Cloiche Wind Farm triumphs in the UK’s sixth Contracts for Difference (CfD) Allocation Round, securing a deal to generate 130.5MW of low-carbon electricity at a guaranteed price for 15 years post-2027/28. This success enables a stable income for the renewable project, which is crucial for the UK’s green energy goals and is set for a final investment decision by 2025. SSE continues to push forward with other significant renewable projects, including the proposed Berwick Bank wind farm, to meet ambitious national clean power targets.
