SSE (GB:SSE) has released an update.
SSE PLC has announced the Scrip dividend price at 1,848 pence per share for the final dividend of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024. Eligible shareholders have until August 22, 2024, to opt into the Scrip Dividend Scheme, which could result in the issuance of up to 23,668,338 new shares, or about 2.2% of the current issued share capital. The dividend is payable on September 19, 2024, with the reference price based on the average share price from July 25 to July 31, 2024.
