SS Innovations International, Inc. has announced that Dr. Frederic Moll, recognized as the “father of surgical robotics,” has joined its Board of Directors as Vice Chairman. Dr. Moll, the founder of Intuitive Surgical, brings extensive experience from his previous roles, including Chief Development Officer at Johnson & Johnson and CEO of Auris Health. This strategic addition coincides with the company’s significant global growth phase and the launch of the advanced SSI Mantra 3 surgical robotic system, which aims to make high-quality robotic surgery more affordable and accessible worldwide. SS Innovations is currently seeking FDA approval for the SSI Mantra 3, expected in late 2025.
