SpareBank 1 SMN (SRMGF) has released an update.
The Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority has approved the merger of Fremtind Forsikring AS and Eika Forsikring AS, scheduled for October 1, 2024, following an initial transaction on July 1. Post-transaction, SpareBank 1 Gruppen AS will hold a 51.44% stake in the new entity, Fremtind Holding AS, while SpareBank 1 SMN, which owns 19.5% of SpareBank 1 Gruppen AS, will see an approximate equity increase of 510 million Norwegian kroner in its consolidated accounts.
