Sound Energy AGM: Key Resolution Defeated

Sound Energy (GB:SOU) has released an update.

At the recent AGM, Sound Energy shareholders approved most resolutions, with significant support for the annual accounts and the re-appointment of Crowe UK LLP as auditor. However, a key resolution to grant directors the authority to allot shares on a non-pre-emptive basis was narrowly defeated, with only a little over 50% support, missing the required 75% threshold. Executive Chairman Graham Lyon expressed disappointment at the outcome but reassured shareholders of continued engagement regarding future equity issues.
