Solid State plc has secured two significant contracts worth $5.1m to supply custom battery packs for harsh environment applications in the US defence sector, with deliveries starting in early 2025. These contracts with leading defence prime contractors highlight the company’s expertise in creating solutions for tough conditions, and have the potential to extend into multi-year agreements. A trading update is anticipated in November, following the completion of the six-month period ending on September 30, 2024.
