Sleep Country Canada Holdings Inc. is set to be acquired by Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited, with shareholders receiving $35.00 per share in cash, a premium over recent trading prices. The $1.7 billion deal, expected to close in Q4 2024, is seen as beneficial for shareholders, providing certainty of significant and immediate value. The acquisition will delist Sleep Country from the TSX and end its status as a reporting issuer.
