Singtel Expands Data Centre Operations in Malaysia

Singtel (SG:Z74) has released an update.

Singtel, through its subsidiary Nxera MY, has partnered with TM DC Educity to create a joint venture for a data centre campus in Johor, Malaysia, with an initial capital commitment of RM1,152 million over five years. Additionally, the joint venture company has acquired land valued at RM229 million for the data centre’s development, funded by internal resources. These strategic moves are poised to expand Singtel’s regional data centre footprint without significantly impacting its financials for the fiscal year ending March 2025.
