Singapore Airlines Sees Surge in August Traffic

SIA – Singapore Airlines (SG:C6L) has released an update.

Singapore Airlines has reported a significant increase in passenger and cargo activity for August 2024, with a 14% rise in passengers carried and a 21.6% jump in cargo and mail carried compared to the previous year. Despite these increases, there was a slight decrease in passenger load factor across the board, with the overall group airlines experiencing a 2.5 percentage point drop. Cargo load factor, however, improved by 4.9 points, indicating a stronger performance in the cargo sector.
