Scorpio Tankers (STNG) has released an update.
Scorpio Tankers Inc. has announced the sale of five of its MR product tankers for a combined total of nearly $179.1 million, with the deals expected to close in the third quarter of 2024. These vessels are unencumbered, meaning no debt repayments will be required upon their sale. This move is part of the company’s strategy to modernize its fleet, which will solely comprise vessels built from 2014 onwards.
