Schneider Electric Debuts Major Bond Issue

Schneider Electric (FR:SU) has released an update.

Schneider Electric has announced the launch of a senior unsecured convertible bond issue set to mature in 2031, with a nominal amount of 750 million euros. Aimed exclusively at qualified investors, the funds raised will primarily facilitate the repurchase of its existing 2026 OCEANEs, aligning with the company’s financing strategy and efforts to mitigate dilution risk. The bonds will offer a fixed annual interest rate between 1.375% and 1.875%, with a conversion premium of 35% to 40% above the reference share price.
