Christian Printzell Halvorsen has been named the new CEO of Schibsted, tasked with leading the company’s transformation into a focused marketplaces entity post-divestment of its news media operations. Halvorsen, with over a decade of experience within Schibsted’s marketplace businesses, will steer the company towards leveraging its core verticals to create value through innovative technology and transactional solutions. Schibsted Marketplaces will continue to trade on the Oslo Stock Exchange under its current name until a new name is introduced.
