SBM Offshore and Technip Energies have launched a joint venture named Ekwil, dedicated to advancing the Floating Offshore Wind (FOW) market with innovative solutions. Headed by energy industry veterans, Ekwil is set to combine the expertise of both companies to meet the growing global demand for renewable energy and drive progress toward a net-zero future. The venture will focus on the deployment of ‘series production’ FOW technologies to deliver reliable and commercial renewable energy solutions.
