Savannah Resources Gains Strong Local Support

Savannah Resources (GB:SAV) has released an update.

Savannah Resources PLC has announced that Portuguese investors now hold approximately 12% of the company’s shares, signaling strong domestic support for the Barroso Lithium Project in Portugal. The project, poised to significantly contribute to Europe’s lithium battery supply chain, is bolstered by a strategic partnership with AMG Critical Materials N.V., which includes a £16 million investment. Savannah Resources is on track to commence production in 2026, aiming to fulfill a substantial part of the European Commission’s goal for local lithium production.
