Sandstorm Gold ( (TSE:SSL) ) has provided an announcement.
Sandstorm Gold Ltd. announced that the Hod Maden joint venture, involving SSR Mining Inc., has approved early-works capital investments of approximately $60-$100 million for 2025. This investment is aimed at advancing critical path items such as road and tunnel construction for the Hod Maden gold-copper project in Türkiye. The project incurred $42 million in development costs in 2024, and the continued progress supports Sandstorm’s forecast for first production in 2028. Sandstorm holds a 2.0% net smelter returns royalty and a gold stream on the Hod Maden project, with agreements to purchase a portion of the gold produced.
