Sandfire Resources Limited (AU:SFR) has released an update.
Sandfire Resources Limited has reported a consolidated Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve estimate for the Motheo project in Botswana, boasting an impressive 64.1Mt at 1.0% Cu and 13.8g/t Ag, which encompasses an estimated 633kt of copper and 28.5Moz of silver. Despite mining activities, the reported contained copper has seen a 3% increase, effectively replacing the depleted amounts and adding new resources. The Ore Reserve estimate stands at 45.7Mt, with 427kt of copper and 19.8Moz of silver, reflecting a strategic effort to ensure a minimum of 15 years of production life for Motheo within the next five years.
