Sandfire Resources Limited announces a significant update to the Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve estimates for its MATSA asset in Spain, with an increased estimate totaling 172.8Mt including 2.2Mt of copper and 4.8Mt of zinc. The updated figures show a 9% and 6% increase in mineral resources and ore reserves respectively, indicating robust growth and the inclusion of two new zones in the reserves. Sandfire’s CEO highlights the potential for further resource expansion and a strong focus on near-mine exploration to extend mine life.
