Saint-Gobain Sells Automotive Components Unit

Compagnie de Saint Gobain (FR:SGO) has released an update.

Saint-Gobain has sold its automotive plastic components business, Freeglass GmbH & Co. KG, to HF Opportunities GmbH, as part of its strategy to optimize its business profile. The sale includes the industrial plant in Germany, which has been operational since 1998, employing around 120 people and generating €20 million in sales in 2023. This move aligns with Saint-Gobain’s ‘Grow & Impact’ strategic plan aimed at strengthening the company’s core businesses.
