Sagicor Financial Secures C$250M in Private Notes

Sagicor Financial (TSE:SFC) has released an update.

Sagicor Financial has successfully completed a private placement offering, raising C$250 million through 6.359% Series 2024-1 Senior Unsecured Notes due in 2029. The proceeds are earmarked for repaying a term loan associated with the acquisition of ivari and related costs. The offering, rated BBB by S&P and BBB (low) by Morningstar DBRS, was coordinated by a syndicate of agents including National Bank Financial Markets and RBC Capital Markets.
