Ryanair Director Resigns Amid Conflict of Interest

Ryanair Holdings (RYAAY) has released an update.

Roberta Neri is resigning from her position on the board of Ryanair Holdings PLC, effective September 2024, due to potential conflicts of interest arising from her role as an Operating Partner at Asterion Industrial Partners. Asterion is set to invest in several Italian airports where Ryanair operates, prompting Neri’s decision to avoid any possible conflicts. Ryanair’s Chairman expressed regret but agreed with Neri’s stance on the importance of maintaining a conflict-free board.
