Rigetti Computing has significantly advanced the quantum computing field by making its 84-qubit Ankaa-2 quantum system accessible through its Quantum Cloud Services. This system, based on advanced fourth-generation chip architecture, achieves an impressive 98% median 2-qubit fidelity, marking a 2.5-fold error performance improvement over previous models. Moreover, Rigetti’s UK subsidiary has secured a grant to develop a 24-qubit quantum computer for the National Quantum Computing Centre, showcasing the company’s continued innovation and industry leadership.
