RELX PLC Buys Back Shares, Boosts Treasury

RELX plc (GB:REL) has released an update.

RELX PLC has reported the acquisition of 194,573 of its ordinary shares, at prices ranging from 3519 to 3558 pence per share, now holding these as treasury shares. The transaction, executed by UBS AG London Branch, brings the total treasury shares to 37,781,160, while the total number of ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares, stands at 1,870,674,521. Since the start of the year, the company has purchased a total of 18,068,967 ordinary shares.
