REC Silicon Announces Production Delay, Seeks Funding

REC Silicon ASA reports a delay in the first delivery of product from its Moses Lake, Washington facility until mid-September 2024 due to a longer-than-expected clean-up process for its high-purity granular polysilicon production. The company is seeking funding options to cover any financial gaps before shipments begin but remains on track for full capacity by the end of the year. REC Silicon is poised to support the growing semiconductor and battery industries with its silane gases and silicon materials.
