Rare Element Resources Gears Up for Wyoming Plant Operations

Rare Element Resources (REEMF) has released an update.

Rare Element Resources Ltd. has received approval from the U.S. Department of Energy to begin operations of its rare earth demonstration plant in Wyoming by the fourth quarter of 2024, with a focus on advancing proprietary processing technology. The project, which aims to gather data for a commercial-scale plant, has also been granted additional funding, raising the federal cost-share to $24.2 million amidst post-pandemic supply challenges.
